Caller IDs

The Caller ID feature of Restaurant Manager allows the Point of Sale (POS) system to read the number of an incoming call from the Point of Sale, which then displays information about the incoming customer. You can create new orders through the Caller ID and POS features in the system, enabling you to build your customer base.
An optional Calling Name Presentation (CNAM) feature may be offered as part of the caller ID service.
The service’s display of information occurs either on a telephone screen or on a separate display device or on another show, such as a cable TV set, when the same provider provides telephone and television service.
You can see information about your customers before you pick up the phone using your POS system.

The Caller ID on the Restaurant Manager’s phone allows you to:

Identify customers easily

Upon receiving an incoming phone call, your customer database will retrieve all previous information about that individual. Your employees can review the information about the client before responding.

Customized phone calls

Allow you to cater to your customers’ needs. Having the customer’s information before you can take repeat orders quickly, use their first name, etc.

Reduce your time.

Automate the process of pulling up the customer record, reducing the length of time an employee has to spend on the phone with a customer and making employees more productive.

Create a customer database.

Maintain a customer database by recording all incoming phone calls and updating it daily with new information. Use this list to market your restaurant.
